The Department of Ophthalmology consists of the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology and the Oxford Eye Hospital based in research and clinical space in the new West Wing of the John Radcliffe Hospital. Research in the Department with clinical implications include:

Applicants must select a supervisor prior to application (details HERE). The proposed supervisor can advise on available projects and funding sources (Funding Source). Once these have been identified, applicants wishing to undertake a DPhil or MSc by Research in Ophthalmology should apply via the University Admissions System (DPhil Ophthalmology/MSc by Research Ophthalmology).
